Our Mission

To help build the skillsets and mindsets which lead to lifelong learning, leadership, and livelihood by reducing workforce barriers that provide employment opportunities in various trades. We prioritize the youth, women, and justice impacted individuals who are often overlooked.

Our Vision

We envision a thriving community where there is equal access to livable wages and apprenticeship career pathway opportunities which result in a diverse and skilled workforce.

Our Goal

To prepare workers for the minimum requirements for entry into an established apprenticeship program.

Our Values

SoCal ensures that our participants possess the resources, knowledge, accountability, and commitment needed to make excellent leaders in the community. We value people. We do not discriminate against age, national origin, race, ethnicity, gender, background, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.

Our Program

SoCal Pre Apprenticeship Program is a 16-week program that requires students to attend three (3) hour lessons, three (3) times per week. Our curriculum teaches skills needed to succeed in various industries. The SoCal training focuses on entry-level occupational skills and trade-specific industry standards. Throughout our course, participants have access to Case Managers for support and guidance through the duration of the program.

Our team members help participants connect with our direct partners as well as public groups, organizations, and/or services to meet their needs.
